Talamone lies on a rocky promontory, which lies on the southern border of the Maremma nature reserve, in a dominant position along the whole stretch of coast arriving at Mount Argentario.

On the outskirts of Talamone is the southern entrance to the Maremma Natural Park, from where are found some spectacular nature trails.

Podere Santa Pia is situated in a hilly and unspoilt land, surrounded by woods, olive groves and vineyards, where the Monte Amiata hills slope to the Maremma plain and the sea can be seen on the horizon.
Podere Santa Pia is the perfect spot to slow travel. Waking up at dawn to start hiking, learning once again the names of flowers and trees, and above all, having the pleasure of getting lost, forgetting about guides, clocks and timetables.
